Join Three Forests Interpretive Association

Three-Forests Interpretive Association [3-FIA] is a non-profit educational organization that helps visitors and users of the Sequoia, Sierra and Stanislaus National Forests appreciate and understand the forests while helping the Forest Service with it's mission to conserve these forests of the towering Sierra Nevada.

Founded by a diverse cross section of forest users, the 3-FIA seeks to enhance public understanding of the history, natural resources, recreational and commercial uses of the forests. We recognize that National Forests are being confronted with ever growing and often conflicting demands on lands. We recognize education as playing a key role in maintaining the long-term health and diversity of the land as well as helping users respect and not sacrifice natural, cultural, and historic heritages.

Membership is an important way for us to show continuing interest and have a role in the future of these three National Forests and the about four million acres of public land they cover. Membership is open to anyone. Most of the 100-plus members of the 3FIA come from Central California but the we have members from all over the country.You are invited to become a member and share in the fulfillment of the Association's goals.

Membership is open to anyone who has a desire and interest in advancing the aims of the Association. All members receive periodic news letters about our activities and have the opportunity to participate. The greatest benefit of being a member may be the gratification of knowing that you are supporting programs to further the proper use and full enjoyment of the SEQUOIA, SIERRA, and STANISLAUS National Forests.

All dues and contributions are tax deductible and members receive a 20% discount on most publications.

If you would like to join, please fill in the Membership Application Form, print it out on your local printer, enclose a check made out to 'Three-Forests Interpretive Association' and mail it to:
